Keep McMinn Beautiful’s organization is volunteer-based,
led by a 30-member board of directors serving three-year terms on a rotating
basis. The board of directors is appointed by the mayors of each of the
municipalities within McMinn County and by the McMinn County Executive. KMB
funding comes from TN Department of Transportation Litter Grant Program, the
City of Athens, and private donations.
KMB is volunteer-based. City of Athens volunteers suit up for TN Great American
Cleanup.

KMB Adopt A Spot Promotion
Keep McMinn Beautiful publishes a quarterly newsletter to inform local residents of KMB activities and events. KMB works with local school administrations, students, parents and faculty throughout the year to provide environmental education programs for grades K thru college.
